About a week & a half ago, (phew time really flies by pretty fast) i was at the Singapore Blog Awards. And to be honest i felt hella outta place. i guess the blogger’s universe is still a very new one to me and it was kind of… different to meet many of them in the flesh for a change.

the format of the awards show kind of felt like a D & D: cocktails, opening performance, give out the “important-but-not-as-important-as-the-more-anticipated-awards”, minister speech, another performance, more giving away of awards, best dress contest & a lucky draw.

Major-General (NS) Chan Chun Sing was the guest of honour for the bloggers awards as well as later at the Singapore Heritage Festival where i performed. Probably was a really long day for him. 

i wish i had the chance to dress up for the blog awards, there was a theme going on & it would have been fun to join in, if (A) i knew someone who’d dress up with me & (B) i didn’t have a show that night. Then again, i doubt the Heritage Fest might mind me dressing as some Historic character. Might have picked Lim Bo Seng or Georgette Chen.
