Inch Chua from Singapore (also Los Angeles) will be playing a handful of events during Canadian Music Festival (aka Canadian Music Week), playing songs from her brand new release, Bumfuzzle.
Matzka are touring China!
And Debbie Hsiao (蕭賀碩) Shuo & Cool Humor just announced a new ‘secret’ album. I’m not sure if it really is a secret, but she mentioned listening to the new master recording on Saturday. Maybe by secret, she means: so far only she has heard it? =D
The bottom set is We Save Strawberries (草莓救星) setting up to record some new demos. Very cramped studio room they are using, woah! And there’s ARNY, back with his usual electric guitars and pedals arrayed around him. WSS to My 8 Day Weekend, back and forth. He has a lot to keep straight in his mind, I can only imagine!

Hello lovelies,
its a new year! both in the western and eastern worlds!

So there was some delay during december, a lot of the work wasn’t able to meet it targeted date of completion and i should have foreseen that everything kind of shuts down in the states as people prepare for the holidays. But hey, things took longer with a couple of setbacks but we managed to have the album mixed and mastered!

The album was mastered by Howie Wienberg (previously from Masterdisk). Weinberg also worked with Tom Waits, The Mars Volta, The White Stripes, Nirvana, The Ramones, Beastie Boys, Gorillaz and even the recent Fiona Apple album.

So the album is official complete!

we’re now in the midst of fulfilling the deliverables (shirts/paintings/other nicknacks), planning photoshoot, music video shoots, as well as finishing up the designs for the vinyls and the CDs.

All of you should have received an email from my lovely project assistant Mindy Kon. Would love confirm addresses and acquire shirt sizes for logistically purposes.

The album release date is right now delayed, due to the possibility of releasing it with a label. Promo copies are pressed and ready for presentation. Discussions are going on now. So my deepest apologies for the wait, but i promise it will be worth it and that your support will not go unrewarded or unheard of.

All i can say is that the single drops in March. Which is reallllyyy soon.

i get it, god is just & good.
he is an awesome dude. i believe that with every fibre in me.

but when i think about justice in the world…
i get this weird manifestation of feelings in me.
my blood boils with judgement, but of course, who am i to judge?
my heart grows eager with the intention to help but, where do i even begin to help someone i’ve never met or is thousands of miles away?
am i suppose to leave it all to god or am i suppose to go out of my way to do something?

there’s just too many question and too many polarized plausible answers. some sense of certainty would be nice, just some.
